There’s nothing bad to say about the Boros family living in the countryside: they are respectable, intellectual people following a vegan diet, even if, in today’s Hungary, they can only thrive by playing by the rules of small-scale corruption. One evening, they invite an old friend, now a powerful water polo coach, over for dinner, but their story takes an unexpected turn. In the middle of the night, a detective shows up at their door and informs them that their son, along with the entire water polo team, has been arrested in connection with the assault of a minor girl.

Soon, the entire small town becomes aware of the case, and the parents start fighting to defend their son. However, public opinion shows no mercy—to anyone. In this story, which delves into questions of guilt and responsibility, we follow how the family members confront each other and, ultimately, themselves in this extreme situation.
